Opening Prompt-: 

  • What do you see in this picture?

  • What do you see that makes you say that? 

  • What else do you see in the picture?

Spend 3 minutes looking at the picture, and jotting down your answers to the the opening prompt.

Mini-Lesson- 

A picture is worth a thousand words, right? When we say “text” we mean, words on a page, a picture or a video/film. You can learn from all!

Yesterday we started to think about “America.” What you associate with America, and what others associate with America.

Today we continue to that work.

Let’s look at the Opening Picture-

  • What else can you see?
