    • Looking at OMAM handout – Chapter II

      • Read the directions
        • Ask, what is this asking me to do?
        • Figure out the oder of operations that I’m being asked to work with.
      • Model some strategies for how I tackle handouts, quizzes, and tests.

      • Practice- turn to OMAM handout- Chapter III

        • Interpret the directions.

        • Create a list of steps for what you should do in your notebook.

  • Continue Reading OMAM.
  • As we read:
    • jot down questions about the author’s decisions.
    • jot down questions your having about the OMAM.


  • Short Answer Questions-

  • Why do you think George told Slim about what happened in Weed?

  • What does George’s conversation with Slim reveal about his past treatment of and present feelings toward Lennie?

    • Topic Sentence Answer Template- (You don’t need to copy the questions)
      • Address the question in the topic sentence of your response.
      • Use an appositive phrase to make response more interesting.
